Gift in Your Will or Living Trust

Deepen Your Connections

With a will or a living trust, you can leave a gift to the Atlanta Humane Society through your estate. But you also have the flexibility to amend your will if life circumstances change. It's reassuring to know you have options.

It's easy, too. In as little as one sentence, you can complete your gift. This type of donation to AHS in your will or living trust helps ensure that we can continue our mission of rescuing and caring for companion animals for years to come.

An Example of How It Works

Woman with her pet catMeet Martha. When she created a will, she included a $75,000 gift to AHS. As years went by, she decided to revise her gift so that she could leave something for a niece and nephew after her lifetime.

She met with her attorney and revised the gift language so that AHS received a percentage of her estate instead of a specific amount. Martha now rests easy knowing her plans will provide for the people and charitable work she loves.
