Partnering Together for a Lifetime

They always say that animals find their people and with Virginia Philip that couldn't be more true. She's had nearly all of her cats seek her out. They've made themselves known by sitting on her doorstep or meowing on the side of a trail she was running down. And she's taken them all in.

When Virginia left college and started her first job, she followed her passion, and the lead of the cats she was yet to know, when she chose the cause she wanted to support and donated her first $5 to the Atlanta Humane Society. Virginia didn't know it at the time, but that $5 was the beginning of a lifetime of support.

And it didn't take long for Virginia to become an indispensable part of the AHS family. It was fate that after years of supporting the organization which truly pulled at her heartstrings, she was approached to join the AHS Board of Directors.

Throughout her years of support for AHS, Virginia has impacted the lives of thousands of animals. She's provided lifesaving medical support and helped care for animals when they needed it the most. And, by placing AHS in her will, Virginia has set up a legacy that is guaranteed to impact the lives of thousands more for years to come.
